The 2013-2014 school year begins in less than three weeks for most students. (In some districts, it’s already begun or it never really ended). As a result, we’d like to extend a bit of help to the Beyond Baby Mamas online community or any single parents of color you know offline who may need help covering the cost of school supplies.
With each year, the list of necessary learning items gets longer. And in one-income families, purchasing all supplies in advance of the school year can be challenging.
If you need help — with any or all of your children’s school supply needs, email us at beyondbabymamas [at] gmail [dot] com with your list and a mailing address. We are using Amazon.com wish lists to generate school supply lists for each family who contacts us by August 30, 2013. Sponsors will purchase items from the list, but will not be given your name or mailing address. We will protect your anonymity/privacy.
We have a few sponsors already lined up to purchase items or full lists for families in need, so contact us right away!
